Shimano just redesigned its RC9 and it is better than ever! Not only does it come in a new stylish design with a metallic heel and a holographic logo, it is also packed with new features and technologies that are ready to take your performance to the next level.

The first thing you will notice when trying them on is the few adjustments that have been made to the fit. The heel cup is now a bit tighter which reduces movement thus improving power transfer. Based on the feedback Shimano received, the forefoot is now a little roomier for superior comfort while still offering the same great aerodynamic performance.

The construction is still made of supple, light and resistant microfiber synthetic leather, which is now present on 360°. Covering the carbon midsole, the wrapping design creates a enhanced support, supremely engineered fit, unparalleled stability and lightweight performance. Specific zones, such as the toe area, has been reinforced for superior durability and protection while still offering excellent breathability. The heel tab is also thicker to resist wear and allow a more aggressive acceleration.

The closure is now equipped with BOA's new Li2 that features a lower profile with the same great precise and quick adjustments as before.

The new carbon fiber plate is extra stiff for surreal connection to the pedals that allows one of the best power transfer.

The new sole vents channels more air in to keep your feet dry no matter how hard you ride.
